How to restart Apache server?

These steps vary based on the operating system.

On Ubuntu and other systems using System V Init:

1. Open Terminal.
2. Type `sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart` and press Enter. You’ll need to enter your password.

On CentOS and other systems using systemd:

1. Open Terminal.
2. Type `sudo systemctl restart httpd.service` and press Enter. You’ll need to enter your password.

On Windows:

1. Open the Start Menu.
2. Search for “Services” and launch it.
3. Scroll down to find ‘Apache’ or ‘Apache2’ or something similar (the exact name depends on your Apache server version and installation).
4. Right-click it and choose ‘Restart’.

On macOS:

1. Open Terminal.
2. Type `sudo apachectl restart` and press Enter. You’ll need to enter your password.

Keep in mind that you’ll need the necessary administrative or sudo permissions to run these commands.

If you are hosting you website on shared hosting service, you might able to restart your server through the hosting control panel (like cPanel or Plesk). If not, you may need to ask your hosting provider to do it.
