How to add a custom field on Drupal 8?


To add a custom field on Drupal 8, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Drupal site and go to the “Structure” tab.

1. Click on “Content types” and select the content type you want to add the custom field to.

1. Click on the “Manage fields” tab and then click on the “Add field” button.

1. Save the field and then configure any additional settings, such as access permissions, required fields, or default values.

1. Save the content type and your custom field will now be available to use for any content of that type.

1. Test the custom field on a sample page to ensure that it is appearing and functioning as expected.
