To configure indexing settings on Drupal 8:
1. Log in to your Drupal 8 website as an administrator.
2. Click on the “Configuration” tab in the top menu and select “Search and metadata” from the dropdown menu.
3. Click on the “Indexing options” tab in the left sidebar menu.
4. Check the box next to “Enable search engine indexing” to allow search engines to index your site.
5. Choose an indexing mode from the options provided, such as “Immediate,” “Cron,” or “Manual.“
6. Specify which types of content you want to index by selecting them from the “Content types” tab.
7. Click on the “Fields” tab to specify which fields you want to index for each content type.
