1. Log in to your Joomla site and navigate to the Extensions menu.
2. Select Module Manager and click on the New button to create a new module.
3. Choose the Custom HTML module type.
4. Add your banner code to the Custom Output field. You can get banner code from the ad network you are using or create one using an online ad generator.
5. Enter a title (e.g. “Banner Ad”) and position for the module.
6. Set the module to display on the pages where you want the banner ad to appear.
7. Save the module and check your site to ensure that the banner ad is displaying correctly.
Note: If your Joomla template has built-in support for banner ads, you can usually add them directly through the template options. Check your template documentation for more information.
