How to add extensions to Joomla?


To add extensions to Joomla, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Joomla administrator panel.
2. Click on “Extensions” in the top menu and select “Manage” from the dropdown.
3. Click on the “Install” tab.
4. Select the type of extension you want to install (e.g. a module, plugin, or template).
5. Click on the “Browse” button and select the extension file from your computer.
6. Click on the “Upload & Install” button to upload and install the extension.
7. Once the installation is complete, you can configure the newly installed extension by clicking on “Manage” and selecting the extension from the list.
8. Configure the extension settings and save the changes.

You can also install extensions manually by uploading the extension package to the relevant directory via FTP. The directory for each extension type is as follows:

- Modules: /modules/
- Plugins: /plugins/
- Templates: /templates/
