How to customize Joomla contact forms?


To customize Joomla contact forms, follow these steps:

1. Login to your Joomla administrative area.
2. Go to Components -> Contacts -> Contacts.
3. Click on the contact form you want to customize.
4. On the right-hand side, click the “Details” tab.
5. Here you can edit the contact form’s title, alias, category, and other basic settings.

1. To add custom fields, click the “Fields” tab.
2. Click the “New” button to add a new field.
3. Enter the field’s name, label, and choose its type from the drop-down list.
4. Click “Save & close” when you’re done.

1. To change the form layout or styling, click the “Options” tab.
2. Here you can change the form layout, add custom CSS, and select the form’s default email address.
3. Click “Save & Close” when you’re finished.

1. To customize the email messages that are sent when the form is submitted, go to Components -> Contacts -> Contact Forms.
2. Click the “Options” button on the top right.
3. Go to the “Emails” tab and customize the email subject, body, and recipient(s).
4. Click “Save & close” when you’re done.
