How to use the Joomla polls plugin?

Here are the technical steps to use the Joomla polls plugin:

1. First, you need to install and activate the Joomla polls plugin on your website. This can be done from the Joomla extension manager.

1. Create a new poll or edit an existing one by navigating to Components > Polls in the Joomla admin area.

1. Add the poll question, options, and any other settings you want to configure.

1. Once the poll is ready, you can add it to an article or module by using the plugin shortcode. The shortcode format is:

{loadposition poll\_position}\[poll id=“X”]\[/poll]

Replace “poll\_position” with the position where you want to display the poll, and “X” with the ID of your poll.

1. Save the article or module and preview your website to see the poll in action.

1. Users can vote on the poll by selecting one of the options and clicking the “Vote” button. The results will be displayed once the vote is submitted.

1. You can view and manage poll results by going to Components > Polls > Responses in the Joomla admin area.

That’s it! With these steps, you should be able to create and use polls on your Joomla website.
