How to use the advanced search modules on Joomla?

Here are the technical steps to use the advanced search modules on Joomla:

1. Log in to your Joomla site administration panel.
2. Go to Extensions > Modules.
3. Click on the “New” button to create a new module.
4. Select the “Advanced Search” module type from the list of available module types.
5. Choose a position for the module on your website (e.g. “sidebar” or “topbar”).
6. Configure the module settings, including search form fields, filters, and layout options.
7. Save the module and publish it on your website.

To customize the advanced search module further, you can also use Joomla’s module overrides feature to modify the module’s HTML and CSS code. This allows you to change the look and feel of the search form, as well as the way search results are displayed on your website. You can also use Joomla’s module parameters to set up specific search parameters, such as search by date, author, or category.
