How do I configure an email client to use MAPI?


To configure an email client to use MAPI, follow these steps:

1. Open the email client you want to configure for MAPI.

1. Click on “File” and then “Account Settings”.

1. In the Account Settings window, select the email account that you want to configure for MAPI.

1. Click on “Change”.

1. In the Change Account window, click on “More Settings”.

1. In the More Settings window, click on the “Advanced” tab.

1. Check the box that says “Use Cached Exchange Mode” if it is not already checked.

1. Under the “Offline Settings” section, choose the options that you prefer, such as how often to synchronize mail and how long mail should be kept offline.

1. Click on the “Outlook” tab.

1. Check the box that says “Enable Mail API (MAPI)”.

1. Click on “OK” to save the changes.

1. Click on “Next” in the Change Account window.

1. Click on “Finish” to complete the process of configuring the email client for MAPI.
