How to rename a column in MariaDB?

To rename a column in MariaDB, you can use the ALTER TABLE and CHANGE COLUMN commands. Here is an example:

```
ALTER TABLE table_name
CHANGE COLUMN old_column_name new_column_name column_type;
```
In this command, replace `table_name` with the name of your table, `old_column_name` with the name of the column you want to rename, `new_column_name` with the new name for the column, and `column_type` with the data type of the column.

For instance, if you have a table named `students` and you want to rename a column from `birth_date` to `birthdate` and its column type is `DATE`, you would do like this:

```
ALTER TABLE students
CHANGE COLUMN birth_date birthdate DATE;
```
