How to configure a POP3 account?

To configure a POP3 account, follow the below steps:

1. Open your email client (such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird) and click on ‘File’ or ‘Tools’ then select ‘Account Settings’.

1. On the ‘Account Settings’ window, click on the ‘New’ button to set up a new email account.

1. Select ‘POP or POP3’ as the account type and enter your name, email address, and password.

1. Enter the incoming mail server and outgoing mail server (SMTP) information provided by your email provider. Typically, the incoming mail server is ‘pop3.yourdomain.com’ or ‘mail.yourdomain.com’, and the outgoing mail server is ‘smtp.yourdomain.com’ or ‘mail.yourdomain.com’.

1. Choose the port numbers for incoming and outgoing mail servers, as provided by your email provider.

1. Select the security settings for both incoming and outgoing mail servers. For example, you can choose SSL or TLS to encrypt your data.

1. Click on the ‘Test Account Settings’ button to make sure everything is working correctly.

1. Finally, click the ‘Finish’ button to complete the configuration process.
