How is a reboot notified to an SNMP manager?

A reboot of a device can be notified to an SNMP manager through SNMP traps. When the device reboots, it can send a trap to the SNMP manager indicating that a reboot event has occurred. The trap will include information such as the time of the reboot, the device that rebooted, and the reason for the reboot if available. The SNMP manager can then use this information to monitor the device’s uptime and proactively identify and troubleshoot issues. Alternatively, the SNMP manager can poll the device after the reboot to check the uptime status.
