What are SNMP operations?

SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) operations are a set of actions that can be performed on SNMP agents, which are network devices or software applications that support SNMP for managing and monitoring network devices. There are five main SNMP operations:

1. Get: Retrieves the value of a single variable from an SNMP agent.

1. GetNext: Retrieves the value of the next variable in a sequence of related variables.

1. Set: Modifies the value of one or more variables on an SNMP agent.

1. Trap: Generates an alert message and sends it to a SNMP management system.

1. GetBulk: Retrieves a large amount of data from an SNMP agent in a more efficient manner than repeated GetNext requests.
