What is a Static MIB?

A static MIB (Management Information Base) is a type of MIB that contains a fixed set of information maintained by a network device. It contains information such as the device type, operational status, and configuration details that can be used by network administrators to manage and monitor the device. Static MIBs are typically used in simple network environments where information can be pre-defined and does not change frequently. They are not capable of adapting to changes in the network, and require manual updates if changes are made to the device configuration.
