How to add an SPF record to a DNS server?

To add an SPF record to a DNS server, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your domain name registrar account where your domain name is registered.
2. Look for the section that manages your domain’s DNS records, usually called “DNS management” or “DNS settings.“
3. Select the domain name for which you want to add an SPF record.
4. Find the option to add a new record or modify an existing one.
5. Select the record type as “TXT” or “SPF” from the drop-down menu.
6. In the “Value” field, enter the SPF record for your domain. For example, “v=spf1 mx a ~all” is a basic SPF record that allows sending emails from the IP addresses listed as MX and A records, and soft fails any other IP addresses.
7. Save the changes and wait for the DNS propagation to complete, which can take up to 48 hours.
8. Verify the SPF record with an SPF checker tool to ensure it has been added correctly.
