To configure an SSH tunnel, follow these steps:

1. Open your terminal and type the command `ssh -L local_port:destination_ip:destination_port username@ssh_server`

1. Replace `local_port` with the port number you want to use on your local machine. This can be any unused port number above 1024.

1. Replace `destination_ip` with the IP address or domain name of the destination server you want to connect to.

1. Replace `destination_port` with the port number of the service you want to connect to on the destination server.

1. Replace `username` with your SSH username on the SSH server.

1. Replace `ssh_server` with the IP address or domain name of the SSH server you want to connect to.

1. Press enter and enter your SSH password when prompted.

1. Once connected, leave the terminal window open and you will be able to access the destination server through the local port you specified.

1. To disconnect, press Ctrl+C in the terminal window.

Note: Make sure the SSH server allows tunneling in its configuration file.
