TFTP packets are not numbered. Unlike TCP, which uses sequence and acknowledgement numbers to ensure reliable data transfer, TFTP relies on UDP, which does not provide any sequencing or flow control mechanisms. Therefore, TFTP packets are simply sent and received in the order they were sent and relied upon other means to ensure reliability, such as error checking and retransmissions.
