I’m sorry for any confusion, but as of the current information available, there is no top-level domain (TLD) known as .CIRCLE.
Top-Level-Domains (TLDs) are the letters you find at the end of a web address, like .com, .org, .net, .edu etc (Wix, n.d.). These TLDs are managed and registered by organizations known as registry operators that are accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
ICANN is a nonprofit organization that is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and methodologies of several databases of unique identifiers related to the namespaces of the Internet, and ensuring the network’s stable and secure operation (ICANN, n.d.).
According to the Root Zone Database which is a service provided by ICANN, the .CIRCLE TLD does not currently exist (ICANN, n.d.). This database contains the authoritative record of “delegated” TLDs, and it includes details of all the TLDs that have been approved by ICANN.
However, new TLDs can be introduced through a specific application process regulated by ICANN. In the most recent application round in 2012, ICANN introduced over 1,200 potential new TLDs (ICANN, 2012). Companies and organizations can apply for new TLDs, and examples from this round include .GOOGLE, .SAMSUNG, and numerous other .BRAND TLDs.
While it’s possible that a .CIRCLE TLD could be approved in the future, as of now there is no record of this TLD. If a business or organization wants to have .CIRCLE as their TLD, they would have to apply through ICANN’s new TLD application process when it opens up again.
For future reference, you can always check the current list of TLDs directly from ICANN’s Root Zone Database.
