The Top-Level Domain (TLD) .CUISINELLA does not seem to exist according to the common domain registries and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The top-level domains are the last segment of a domain name or the part that follows immediately after the “dot” symbol. Top-Level Domains are primarily classified into two categories: Generic TLDs (gTLD) and Country-Code TLDs (ccTLD). Examples of gTLDs include .com, .org, .net, among others, while ccTLDs represent specific geographic locations, such as .us (United States), .fr (France), .au (Australia).
However, in 2011, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the organization responsible for managing the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and the Domain Name System (DNS), approved the expansion of the domain naming system to include new generic TLDs (new gTLDs) (ICANN – “About New gTLDs”). This allowed entities to apply for virtually any TLD.
Most of these new gTLDs are brands, communities, or generic descriptors. For example, .google is a brand TLD belonging to Google Inc., .club is a generic TLD operated by .Club Domains, LLC, and .bank is a community TLD managed by fTLD Registry Services, LLC.
CUISINELLA could potentially be registered as a brand TLD, given that it is the name of a popular Kitchen furniture brand in France, owned by the Schmidt Groupe. However, the database for TLDs regulated by ICANN currently does not list .CUISINELLA as an existing, withdrawn, or pending TLD (ICANN – “TLDs”) as of the time of this writing.
Moreover, the WHOIS Search provided by The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), which is a department of ICANN that oversees IP address allocation and domain name management, doesn’t provide any result for .CUISINELLA domain (IANA – “WHOIS Service”).
In conclusion, .CUISINELLA is not recognized as a top-level domain by existing domain and intellectual property databases. However, it is theoretically possible for CUISINELLA or its parent company, Schmidt Groupe, to apply for a brand TLD through ICANN’s new gTLDs program in the future.
