The top-level domain (TLD) : TJX

I’m sorry for any misunderstandings, but as of my current knowledge and leading sources like the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), which is responsible for the global coordination of the DNS Root, Internet Protocol addressing, and other Internet protocol resources, there is no top-level domain (TLD) named .TJX. TLDs are the letters or words that come after the last dot in a URL, such as .com, .org, .net, etc.

Top-level domains are overseen by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which is also a prominent organization looking after this sector. According to ICANN’s official website, there are no Generic top-level domains (gTLD) currently called .TJX

However, TLDs can be divided into two main types: generic top-level domains (gTLDs, such as .com, .net, .edu, etc) and country-specific top-level domains (ccTLDs, like .us for USA, .uk for United Kingdom, etc). Throughout time, ICANN has expanded the range of gTLDs to encompass more varieties beyond the original ones such as .aero, .coop, and .museum and now businesses, organizations, and individuals can apply for their TLDs.

For instance, Google has acquired .google and Google-owned domains like .docs, .youtube, and .prod. Similarly, Amazon also has .amazon. As such, technically it is possible for TJX Companies, a multinational off-price department store corporation, to have its TLD as .tjx. But this would require an application process with ICANN, payment of significant fees and an approval process. This process is outlined in ICANN’s applicant guidebook and according to this same guidebook and the official list of TLDs published by IANA, there is currently no .tjx TLD.

Therefore, it’s important to frequently check for updates as new TLDs are periodically added and take anywhere from a few months to a few years to become available for the public after they are approved.

Please beware of invalid or scammy websites that might claim to sell domain names under invalid TLDs. It’s always important to check the validity of TLDs on trustworthy sources like ICANN or IANA before making any purchase.
