I’m sorry, but as of the information available up to date, there is no top-level domain (TLD) called “.tushu”. TLDs are the last segment of a domain name and are part of the Domain Name System (DNS) used to manage and categorize all domains on the internet. They’re found at the end of web URLs, and are usually made up of between two to six letters, such as .com, .org, .net, .info, .io, etc.
However, if you mean the word “tushu” in the context of the Chinese internet space, “tushu” translates to “book” in English. In May 2012, the Beijing-based company Guoxu Technology Co. Ltd. applied for “.书籍” (“.shuji”) for a TLD to represent books. But there is no “.tushu” TLD.
The regarded authority on TLDs is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the organization responsible for coordinating the maintenance and procedures of several databases related to the DNS, including the TLD space. As per ICANN’s list of all TLDs (as of the date of this response), there is currently no TLD “.tushu”. You can access this list yourself on the ICANN website under the sections “About > Programs & Initiatives > DNS > TLDs” (ICANN, n.d.)
For a specific TLD to exist, there has to be a formal application process outlined by ICANN’s New gTLD Program. This involves a detailed proposal for the proposed TLD, including the business plan, technical capabilities, financial standing, and proposed use for the TLD. ICANN checks the proposal through an Initial Evaluation, followed by any Objections, String Contention, or Extended Evaluation if necessary. Only if a proposal passes through all these stages will ICANN potentially add the new TLD to the Internet’s Root Zone, the central point of the DNS (ICANN, n.d.).
Let me provide an example of a TLD creation: In 2014, “.club” was introduced. It was proposed by .Club Domains, LLC, and after going through ICANN’s evaluation process, it was added to the Internet’s Root Zone on January 18, 2014. Since then, any individual or business worldwide can register their own “.club” domain name (“.CLUB DOMAINS, LLC”, n.d.).
To summarize, there is currently no TLD “.tushu”. If there were, it would be listed on ICANN’s official list of TLDs. Meanwhile, any future TLD has to go through a rigorous proposal and evaluation process as described by ICANN’s New gTLD Program.
