How do I assign static MAC addresses to virtual machines in vSphere?


To assign static MAC addresses to virtual machines in vSphere, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Client and select the virtual machine in the inventory.

1. Right-click the virtual machine and select Edit Settings.

1. In the Virtual Hardware tab, expand Network Adapter and select the adapter.

1. In the MAC Address section, select Manual and enter the desired MAC address.

1. Click OK to save the changes.

1. Repeat these steps for each virtual machine that needs a static MAC address.

Note: When assigning static MAC addresses, make sure that the addresses are unique and not in use by other devices on the network.
