To configure Network Resource Control (NRC) in vSphere, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the vSphere Web Client.
1. Navigate to the host or cluster for which you want to configure NRC.
1. Click on the Manage tab and then click on Networking & Security.
1. Select the Distributed Switch you want to configure and click on the Configure tab.
1. Click on the Network Resource Management button.
1. Expand the NRC section and select the NRC mode you want to use (vSphere Network I/O Control or vSphere Distributed Switch I/O Control).
1. If you choose vSphere Network I/O Control, select the traffic types you want to prioritize (VMkernel, vMotion, Fault Tolerance, iSCSI, NFS, vSAN, and TCP/IP).
1. If you choose vSphere Distributed Switch I/O Control, select the relevant distributed port groups and configure the bandwidth limits for each one.
1. Click on Save to apply the changes.
1. Repeat the above steps for each Distributed Switch in the cluster.
Note: Before configuring NRC, ensure that the necessary licenses are in place and that the physical infrastructure (i.e., NICs and switches) can support the desired level of network resource control.
