How do I configure event monitoring in vSphere?


To configure event monitoring in vSphere, follow these steps:

1. Open the vSphere client and log in to your vCenter server.

1. Click on the “Home” button and select “Events.”

1. On the Event screen, click the “Configuration” tab.

1. Click the “Edit” button to configure the settings.

1. In the “Event Settings” window, choose the events you want to monitor by checking the corresponding checkboxes.

1. Select the frequency you want to monitor events by choosing an option in the “Polling Frequency” drop-down menu.

1. Select the interval you want to monitor events by choosing an option in the “Event Disclosure” drop-down menu.

1. Click “OK” to save your settings.

Once you have configured event monitoring in vSphere, you can view the events by clicking on the “Home” button and selecting “Events.” The events will be listed in the “Recent Tasks” pane. You can also view event details by clicking on the event in the “Recent Tasks” pane.
