How to add a datastore in vSphere?

To add a datastore in vSphere, follow these steps:

1. Connect to vSphere client and select the host that you want the datastore to be added to.
2. Click on the “Configure” tab and select “Storage”.
3. Click on the “Add Storage” button.
4. Select the type of storage you want to add (such as NFS or iSCSI).
5. Configure the storage settings, such as the datastore name, capacity, and location information.
6. Choose the provisioning format (thin or thick) and select any additional options as needed.
7. Review your configuration settings and click “Finish” to create the new datastore.

Once you have added the new datastore, it will appear in the vSphere client and can be used for virtual machine storage.
