How to assign static IP addresses to virtual machines under vSphere?


To assign static IP addresses to virtual machines under vSphere, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Web Client.
2. Find the virtual machine for which you want to assign a static IP address.
3. Right-click on the virtual machine and select Edit Settings.
4. In the Hardware tab, select the network adapter and click the Edit button.
5. Under Network Connection, select Use static IP address.
6. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway for the virtual machine.
7. Click OK to save the changes.
8. Power on the virtual machine and verify that it is using the static IP address you configured.

Repeat these steps for each virtual machine that requires a static IP address.
