To configure CPU Resource Control in vSphere, follow these steps:
1. Open the vSphere Client and connect to the vCenter Server.
1. Navigate to the host or cluster where you want to configure CPU Resource Control.
1. Click on the “Configure” tab and select “Advanced System Settings” from the list on the left.
1. Scroll down to the “Config.HostAgent.sched. cpu.
1. In the “Value” field, enter the percentage of CPU resources to allocate to the virtual machine(s) on the host or cluster.

1. Repeat steps 4-6 for each CPU on the host or cluster.
1. Once you’ve configured the CPU share values for all CPUs, click “OK” to close the Advanced System Settings window.
1. You can now configure CPU Resource Control for individual virtual machines by selecting the VM and navigating to the “Resource Allocation” tab in the VM settings.
1. Under the “CPU” section, you can configure the CPU limit, reservation, and shares for the virtual machine.
1. Click “OK” to save the changes.
Note: The changes may take some time to become effective. It’s recommended to monitor the CPU usage and adjust the resource controls as needed.
