How to configure LDAP connection settings in vCenter?


To configure LDAP connection settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vCenter Server using the vSphere Web Client.

1. Click on the “Administration” tab at the top of the page.

1. Select “Single Sign-On” from the navigation pane on the left-hand side.

1. Click on the “Configure” button next to the “Identity Sources” option.

1. Click the “Add Identity Source” button.

1. Enter the LDAP server details, including the server URL, port number, and authentication details.

1. Choose the LDAP protocol version, SSL/TLS settings, and other connection settings as necessary.

1. Click on the “Test Connection” button to check if the connection is successful.

1. Once the LDAP connection settings are configured, you can use them to authenticate users and groups in vCenter.
