How to configure availability management settings in vCenter?


To configure availability management settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Web Client with sufficient privileges.
2. Navigate to the vCenter Server object from the inventory tree.
3. Click the Configure tab and select Health Check.
4. In the Health Check pane, click Edit and select the vSphere HA section.
5. Set the Admission Control policy to one of the following:

- Percentage based on host failures
- Number of host failures allowed

1. Configure the Host Failures Cluster Tolerates option according to the admission control policy.
2. Set the VM Monitoring options according to the desired level of virtual machine monitoring.
3. Configure the VM restart priority order and actions.
4. Select the datastore clusters that should be used for vSphere HA.
5. Click OK to save the changes.

After completing these steps, the availability management settings will be configured in vCenter.
