How to configure change management management settings in vCenter?


To configure change management settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Web Client.

1. Click on the vCenter in the left pane and then click on “Configure” in the right pane.

1. Click on “Security & Compliance.”

1. Click on “Change Management Settings.”

1. To enable the Change Management Settings, click on the “Enable Change Management Settings” checkbox.

1. Enter the email address that will receive the notifications.

1. Click on “Save.”

1. To configure the Advanced Settings, click on “Advanced Settings.”

1. Configure the settings as desired, including the maximum number of undo levels, the maximum number of days to keep change event data, and the maximum number of days to keep session data.

1. Click on “Save” to save the changes.

1. Click on “Apply” to apply the settings.

Note: The change management settings only apply to the objects that are managed by the vCenter. If the objects are managed by a third-party tool, the settings may not apply.
