How to configure delegation of authority in vCenter?


To configure delegation of authority in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to vSphere Web Client or vCenter Server.

1. Click on the “Home” tab and select “Administration.”

1. Click on the “Access Control” tab.

1. Select “Manage” under the “Global Permissions” section.

1. Click on the “Add” icon.

1. In the “Add Permission” dialog box, select the user, group, or role that you want to delegate authority to.

1. Choose the privileges that you want to delegate to the selected user, group, or role.

1. Click “OK” to save the permission settings.

1. Repeat steps 5-8 to add additional permission settings.

1. Click “OK” to close the “Global Permissions” dialog box.

You have now successfully configured delegation of authority in vCenter.
