How to configure distributed storage settings in vCenter?


To configure distributed storage settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Client or vSphere Web Client.

1. Click on the vCenter server in the inventory panel.

1. Click on the “Configure” tab.

1. Under the “Settings” section, click on “Storage.”

1. Click on “New Distributed Storage.”

1. Select the storage type, such as NFS, iSCSI or Fibre Channel.

1. Specify the details of the distributed storage cluster, such as the name, the datastore location, and the number of hosts that should be assigned to the cluster.

1. Configure the storage settings, such as the storage policy and the cache capacity.

1. Click on “Finish” to create the distributed storage cluster.

1. Optionally, configure additional settings, such as the bandwidth allocation and the disk format.

1. Click on “Save” to apply the changes.

1. Repeat the process for each distributed storage cluster that you want to configure.

Once you have configured the distributed storage settings in vCenter, you can use them to create and manage virtual machines and other resources on your cluster.
