How to configure governance settings in vCenter?

To configure governance settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere client using your credentials.
2. From the main menu, click on “Administration”.
3. Under the “Access Control” tab, select “Roles”.
4. Click on the “+” button to create a new role.
5. Enter a name for the new role and select the privileges you want to assign to it.
6. Click “OK” to save the role.
7. Under the “Access Control” tab, select “Global Permissions”.
8. Click on the “+” button to add a new permission.
9. Select the user or group you want to add the permission to and select the role you created in step 5.
10. Click “OK” to save the permission.

These steps will create a new role with specific privileges and assign it to a user or group. This will help you to maintain governance over who has access to specific parts of the vCenter environment.
