How to configure logging settings in vCenter?


To configure logging settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to vCenter server with administrator privileges.
2. Go to the “Administration” tab in the vSphere client.
3. Click on “System Configuration” and then “Log Browser.“
4. Choose the type of log you want to configure (e.g., vCenter Server messages, vSphere Web Client messages, etc.).
5. Click on the “Configure” button.
6. Set the log level to the desired level (e.g., Error, Warning, Info, etc.).
7. Choose the maximum log file size and the maximum number of log files to keep.
8. Click “OK” to save the settings.
9. Repeat these steps for each log type that you want to configure.

After configuring the logging settings, you can view the logs in the Log Browser or export them to a file.
