How to configure network resources in vSphere?


To configure network resources in vSphere, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Client and select the appropriate datacenter.

1. Click on the “Hosts and Clusters” view from the “Navigator” pane on the left.

1. Select the host that you want to configure network resources for.

1. Click on the “Configure” tab, and then select “Networking” from the list of options.

1. You’ll see a list of all the available virtual switches. Click on one of these switches to configure it.

1. Select the “Properties” tab and make any necessary changes, such as renaming the switch or changing the number of ports.

1. Click on the “Ports” tab to configure the individual ports on the switch.

1. You can create a new port group, add or remove a virtual machine from a port group, or change the security settings for the port group.

1. Repeat these steps to configure any additional virtual switches or port groups.

1. After you’ve configured all of your network resources, you can manage them by selecting the appropriate virtual machine and selecting “Edit Settings” then “Network Adapter”.
