How to configure resource management settings in vCenter?


To configure resource management settings in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vCenter Server using the vSphere Web Client.
2. Navigate to the Hosts and Clusters view.
3. Select a cluster or an individual ESXi host.
4. Click on the Manage tab and select Settings.
5. Click on Resource Allocation.
6. Set the following options for the desired resources:

a. CPU: Set the number of CPU cores or GHz allocated to the host or cluster. b. Memory: Set the amount of memory allocated to the host or cluster. c. Storage: Set the amount of storage space allocated to the host or cluster. d. Network: Set the amount of network bandwidth allocated to the host or cluster.

1. Click on OK to save the settings.

After setting the resource management settings, vCenter will automatically manage the allocation of resources according to the specified limits and thresholds.
