How to configure single sign-on in vCenter?


To configure single sign-on (SSO) in vCenter, follow the steps below:

1. Open the vSphere Web Client and login to vCenter as administrator.

1. Click on the Administration tab at the top of the page and select Single Sign-On.

1. In the Single Sign-On Configuration panel, click on the Configure button.

1. Select Use Windows Session Authentication and click Next.

1. Enter the Domain Name of the Active Directory domain that you want to use for single sign-on and click Next.

1. Enter the netbios name of the domain controller.

1. Enter a Service Account username, password and domain.

1. Click Finish.

1. Verify the SSO Configuration status in the Summary tab.

1. After SSO is configured, you can assign SSO permissions to users and groups.
