How to configure web application management settings in vCenter?


1. Log in to the vSphere Web Client using administrator credentials.
2. From the Home page, select the vCenter Server instance from the list.
3. Click on the Manage tab, and select Settings under the Settings section.
4. Select Web Application configuration from the list.
5. Configure the web application settings as per your requirements. Some common settings include: a. Session timeout: Specify the number of minutes after which the session will time out. b. Maximum allowed login attempts: Specify the maximum number of allowed login attempts before the account is locked out. c. Lockout duration: Specify the duration for which an account will be locked out after the maximum allowed login attempts have been reached. d. Enable password complexity rules: Specify whether password complexity rules are enforced or not. e. Authentication time-out: Specify the time-out period for authentication requests.
1. After configuring the settings, click on Save to apply the changes.
