How to create a port group in vSphere?


1. Log in to the vSphere client and select the vSphere host or cluster you want to create a port group for.
2. Right-click on the host or cluster and select “New Port Group”.
3. Enter a name for the port group and select the VLAN ID if necessary.
4. Choose the vSwitch or distributed switch you want to add the port group to.
5. Specify the security settings for the port group, including whether to block or allow promiscuous mode, MAC address changes, and forged transmits.
6. Configure any advanced settings as necessary.
7. Click “Finish” to create the port group.
