How to create a virtual network in vCenter?


To create a virtual network in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the vSphere Client or vCenter Server.

1. Select the desired data center or cluster from the inventory view.

1. Click on the “Networking” tab in the main pane.

1. Click “Add Networking” to create a new virtual network.

1. Select the type of virtual network you wish to create (Standard switch or Distributed switch).

1. Give the virtual network a name and select the physical adapters for the network.

1. Select the security settings for the virtual network, such as VLAN ID and traffic filtering.

1. Click “Finish” to complete the creation of the virtual network.

1. Verify that the new virtual network is listed under the “Networking” tab and is available for use by virtual machines.

Repeat the process to create additional virtual networks as needed.
