How to monitor performance in vCenter?

To monitor performance in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to vCenter with administrative credentials.
2. Select the virtual machine you want to monitor from the inventory list.
3. Go to the “Summary” tab of the virtual machine.
4. Click on the “Performance” tab to see the performance graphs.
5. Select the metrics you want to monitor from the drop-down menu. You can select metrics related to CPU usage, memory usage, network usage, and disk usage.
6. Use the time range selector to adjust the time interval for which you want to see the performance graphs.
7. You can also configure alerts for specific performance metrics. Go to the “Configure” tab and select “Alarm Definitions” to set up performance alerts.
8. If you have multiple virtual machines, you can monitor their performance in the “Performance” tab of the host or cluster they belong to.
