How to move a virtual machine from one host to another in vCenter?

To move a virtual machine from one host to another in vCenter, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your vSphere Client and select the virtual machine you want to move.

1. Right-click the virtual machine and select Migrate.

1. Choose the migration type you want to perform. You can select either vMotion or Storage vMotion.

1. If you choose vMotion, you will need to select the host you want to move the virtual machine to from the list of available hosts. If you choose Storage vMotion, you will need to select the datastore you want to move the virtual machine’s virtual disks to.

1. Click Next to review the details of your migration and then click Finish to start the migration process.

1. Wait for the migration to complete. The time it takes will depend on the size of your virtual machine and the speed of your network.

1. Once the migration is complete, verify that your virtual machine is functioning correctly on its new host or datastore.
