How to Configure Reading Settings in WordPress?


To configure reading settings in WordPress, you need to follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Click on the “Settings” option in the left-hand menu and select “Reading.“
3. On the “Reading Settings” page, you can configure the following options:

a) Your site’s homepage displays – You can select whether you want your homepage to display your latest posts or a static page.

b) Blog pages show at most – You can select the number of posts to show on your blog page.

c) Syndication feeds show the most recent – You can select the number of posts to show in your RSS feed.

d) For each article in a feed, show – You can select whether you want to show the full text or a summary of your posts in your RSS feed.

e) Search Engine Visibility – You can select whether to discourage search engines from indexing your site.

1. Once you have adjusted the options to your liking, click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.
