To create a custom homepage in WordPress, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to Pages > Add New.
2. Create a new page and name it something like “Home” or “Front Page”.
3. On the right-hand side of the page editor, look for the Page Attributes box and select “Home” or “Front Page” from the dropdown menu under Template.
4. Add the content you want to appear on your homepage, such as text, images, videos, and calls-to-action.
5. To add a featured image, scroll down to the Featured Image box on the right-hand side and select an image from your media library or upload a new one.
6. Once you’ve finished creating your homepage, save and publish the page.
1. Go to Settings > Reading.
2. Under “Your homepage displays”, select “A static page”.
3. In the dropdown menu next to “Homepage”, select the page you just created.
4. Save changes and view your new custom homepage.
