How do I configure Zimbra to check emails automatically?

Zimbra Web Client checks for new mail automatically, and the new email messages would be placed in the Inbox. However, it cannot be less than one minute.

If you’d like to change the settings, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your Zimbra account.

1. From the top menu, click on “Preferences”.

1. Select the “Mail” tab.

1. Scroll down to the “Receiving Messages” section.

1. Beside “Check new mail”, there will be a dropdown menu. Here, you can select the frequency at which Zimbra checks for new email.

1. Once you have chosen your desired interval, click on “Save” in the top left corner of the page.

Note: The changes will not take effect immediately. You may have to log out and then log back in to your Zimbra account before you see the update.
