How to Recover Deleted Mail in Zimbra?

Zimbra allows users to recover deleted emails for up to 30 days. Here’s how to do it:

1. Log in to your Zimbra account.

1. Click on the “Preferences” tab located at the upper part of the interface.

1. Click on the“Mail” located in the left sidebar. Scroll down until you see the “Recover Deleted Items” option.

1. Click on the “Recover Deleted Items” button. This will open a new dialog box.

1. In that dialog box, you can see a list of emails you’ve deleted within the past 30 days. Select the emails that you want to recover.

1. After selecting the emails, click on the “Recover To” button, and choose where you want to recover these emails. You can choose to recover them to the original folder or to another folder.

1. Click on “OK”. The deleted emails are now recovered.

Keep in mind that if you have permanently deleted the emails (emptied trash), these emails can’t be recovered without help from your email admin. The method above only works for emails deleted in the past 30 days and haven’t been permanently deleted.

Please note that your Zimbra version and interface may slightly differ, but the steps would remain similar.
